The hotel was very nice, all around. Rooms, exercise facility, beds, and bathrooms were all very high quality. The hotel restaurant was also very good. Its all a bit pricey, but I would recommend it regardless.

I was stuck at the airport as I missed my flight, so I didn't spend a ton of time, but did enjoy the time spent.

very nice hotel. i stay at westin hotels a lot, and this is definitely in the upper tier of westins out there. look on-line for the park and fly option too. with just one night stay, you can get 10 days of valet parking for just 1 cent.

excellent service also. i had accidentally signed up for the non park and fly option, and the manager caught it and asked if i wanted to change packages. unheard of courtesy.

If only all airport hotels were this nice. This property couldn't have a better location (for an airport); it is attached to the Delta terminal at DTW and even has its own security checkpoint. (If you are flying an airline other than Delta, you have to use a shuttle bus to get to and from the terminal that houses the other airlines; I flew in on United, and I only waited about 10 minutes for the shuttle.) The hotel is one of the nicest Westin hotels I've ever stayed in. There is a huge, stylish atrium that gives the hotel an open and airy feel. The public areas and rooms feature modern yet comfortable design and decor. The rooms are spacious with the awesome "heavenly" bed, a large working area, and good lighting. The fitness center is complete, with lots of cardio and weight equipment. I arrived late and ordered room service. It was delivered in 15 minutes and was great -- it was wonderful to have healthy options (like a hummus plate with vegetables) on a room service menu. I had a breakfast meeting at the hotel's restaurant; it's located in the atrium, which made for a great setting that was so much nicer than the typical windowless hotel restaurant that smells like a breakfast buffet. The service was fast, and the food was good. Overall, this is an oustanding hotel; you cannot ask for better near DTW (or most any airport). Highly recommended.

What an amazing stay. We checked in and asked for a view of the airport - it was amazing with pics included. So much fun to watch the planes in terminal A. The hotel has its own security and TSA agent so you can go into the terminal at the airport without a boarding pass which is so much fun. We spent hours in the airport watching people at the gates and eating in the airport restaurants. So much fun. We then went back to the hotel and relaxed with an amazing view, great bed and shower. Very clean hotel with beautiful atrium as well. Price was great as well for the weekend. Will definitely stay here again just for fun!!
