“Friendly atmosphere”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

The restaurant is hidden away in a wooded area. Very quant with a rustic decor. We went for my sisters birthday and they gave thme complinetary pieces of cake. The food was great. I had the scallops and they were very good. The service was great and the prices were not too expensive. A great place to meet friends or take the family.

“In the dead of winter”
Reviewed 12 January 2013

When the dreary days on winter fall upon Michigan there needs to be
somewhere you can steel away to find some joy. Timberline is a hidden gem.
Old yes, antiquated yes, out of the way yes.... but the food is surprisingly
good. My husband had seafood Alfredo pasta and I had a small Filet.
We were the first one's there at 5 pm so the service was impeccable. There
is a Gourmet table which included pickled herring, beats, whipped cheese, waldorf salad and much more. Beer selection was a bit to be desired for my husband as he is a micro-craft beer IPA
man...the wine selection was ok. All in all it was nice to enjoy somewhere out of our comfort zone....one we really enjoyed.
