Recently revisited the local watering hole Darb's in ER. The menu hasn't changed but maybe the food preparer has. The menu always sounded good, but when the food arrived it was disappointing, usually waaaay too salty, undercooked, overcooked, greasy, not so good bar food.
So when my husband and I lunched there a few days ago I was happy to have had a good wrap and he just an appetizer of potato skins that were very good. Service was very good, beer was cold. The wrap was made from one of their salads: walnuts, spinach, bleu cheese, chicken and a vinagrette. They had run out of their "regular" potato skins (I assume this means frozen from a food supplier) and made "their own". They were good!
They have specials everyday and some of the soups are quite satisfying.
