Not the best or the worst, but the sushi house is a pretty good place to eat. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are fair. I would say their pieces of sushi are bigger compared to other places, for me thats good because I feel your getting your moneys worth. Its a clean restaurant and its located in a plaza next to a Korean restaurant.

I have eaten sushi all over Metro Detroit & this place is where I always come back! Their prices are very reasonable and they have a great selection of sushi. They are friendly, service is fast & it is a fun little hole in the wall joint.

My wife and I have been coming to Sushi House for 4 or 5 years now and we continue to return due to the great rolls and great prices. We are not sushi snobs by any means but we do have sushi approximately 1-2/month.

This past visit, we went with a party of about 10 people. We called 45 minutes in advance and they were able to accommodate our reservation even though it was a relatively busy Saturday night. Service was prompt and courteous. The atmosphere family friendly yet elegant. All meals are served with soup, salad, and rice.

Due to our large party, we ordered the Gourmet Sushi and Sashimi Tray Size C which includes 12 pc sashimi, 6 pc nigiri, and 3 basic rolls (37.95) which was quite delicious and provided a good variety of sashimi/nigiri. We also ordered the two of the House Special Dinners which includes 4 pc sashimi, 3 pc nigiri, yakitori, tempura, gyoza, california roll, and edemame (16.95). This would be great to split if you come with two people simply for the large variety. It is probably too much for one person.

The rolls are what make this restaurant special. Our favorite is the House Special Roll which includes shrimp tempura, cucumber, unagi, avocado, and crab meat (11.95). This is the most expensive roll on the menu but quite worth it! We also ordered the Crazy Roll which has tuna, salmon, yellow tail, and avocado (5.25). Other favorites include the Sexy Roll a crab meat based roll (9.95) and the Spider Roll which includes soft shell crab (6.95).

Our least favorite was the No Name Roll which includes tuna, salmon, yellow tail deep fried (5.25) and left us with a fishy aftertaste. This was the only roll our party did not like.

On the wall, near the entrance, is a list of rolls that customers have come up with and the restaurant has endorsed that you can order. In addition, you can also order a custom made roll of your own creation.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for the great rolls! Going with a larger group allows you to order a variety of their creative rolls. Atmosphere is great and service is prompt. Highly recommended!
