“Old Style Motel Will Bring Back Fond Memories!”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

This little place is great! It served up fond memories of yesteryear when you pulled your car right up to your door and stayed in a motor lodge (motel) as opposed to todays high rise (and often times high priced) hotels. This place is very well kept, the beds were actually comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff and service was also great! The ONLY negative thing that I could find was the fact that there was no swiming pool at this motel.
The motel itself, sits just a couple of blocks behind all of the downtown shops and you can walk to many of them if you desire. We would stay here again without a doubt!

Enjoy!
J.

We just spent Memorial Weekend at the frankenmuth Motel. Love that they are dog friendly and that there is plenty of grass in safe areas far from the street to walk the dog. They even supply poo bags just in case you left the room without one. They have upgraded the beds over the last few years and they are so comfortable. Then this year they upgraded to flat screen TV with 122 channels and new door locks. No more swiping just hold it up to the door and it will unlock. It is quite but next to everything. We parked the car and walked to everything in town. Love the Frankenmuth motel. It's like going home.

Room Tip: The rooms in the back section are great for easy access to potty dogs.

My mom and I have stayed here several times. We love the quiet location. The grounds are very attractive, as is the motel's appearance. The staff are friendly and helpful. I love the fact that we're only a couple of minutes by car to Bronner's. Our rooms have always been in good condition. I wouldn't want to stay anyplace else.

This price is great, the service is great, the place is clean... A very nice place to stay, just off of the main strip but still very close to everything. We have been coming back for the last 3 years for a festival in town and will continue to do so.

Tell the truth I was just looking for something to do in Michigan after a business deal went south and my plane didn't take off for a few days. I found this motel on line and choose it as the least expensive place in town.

I showed up with zero expectations but was pleasantly surprised. The place is nice, clean, quiet and convenient to explore Frankenmuth. The front desk lady was nice and even helped me with some great advice on what to do for a first timer in her area.

Room Tip: It's a great old time motor lodge.

We are repeat customers to this nice friendly, basic, and cost conscious motel, because 1) we like friendly folks, 2)we DON'T expect less than great service, and 3) we KNOW that for this price, there is NOTHING better. This was THE FIRST motel in Frankenmuth, it's been around a long time, and the people that stay here, are happy with all the above. It's well used, it's well taken care of, and it's comfortable, but, NOT fancy....just like us!! :)

We have stayed at this motel many times over the past thirty years, but they have upgraded nearly everything, and this fine property is now a hidden gem. It is close to town and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The rooms and clean and secure. The painting is new as are the comfy beds and drapery. The televisions are flat screen with superior service and more channels than we have ever seen. The remote is easy to use unlike those we find in so many expensive hotels. The water is instantly hot. The front desk knows hot to place people in rooms so there is no noise from the neighbors. They have plenty of lighting to read by which is so often missing. Of course they have ice and refreshments to buy at the front desk. The complimentary breakfast isn't much, but what do you expect for this extremely reasonable price? I found this the perfect place for our two night stay.
