What a gem this pub is! Went in as I was passing with my partner last week and was greeted in a very friendly manner by the young lady on the bar, she was very informative and told us had we come yesterday we could of had 'fish and chips' which the locals were very fond of. She said its normally a good idea to book, but it being a quieter night we could have a table. Would have been nice to have a proper menu to read at the table and not had to stand awkwardly in the bar reading it off the wall. Food came swiftly and was absolutly delicious, large portions and fantastic puddings! We were well looked after and will certainly be back!
