Lincoln Pines Resort
Reviewed 5 August 2013

We camped here in a pop up with our family. The daytime hours were fine - yes, a lot of golf carts, but we knew that. The most frustrating thing was that on Friday night there was a very large crowd at a group of sites about 100 yards from us. They were up past midnight drinking, partying, loud music, and yelling. It made it impossible to get my younger children to sleep. At this point there was nobody in the guard shack, and aparently nobody monitoring the camp. We will not be camping here on a weekend again.

We are going into our third year at Lincoln Pines Resort. We absolutely love it. The owners do an excellent job operating and maintaining the Park. Yes there are alot of golf carts, the park is very large and they come in handy, there are also trails through the woods. This is a family oriented enviroment and there are scheduled activities for all ages. The park has mostly seasonal lots, however there are "in and out" lots scattered through out the resort. There are also to log cabins for rent.

This park was more well suited for seniors than families with small children. The beach was far from our site and was rocky and full of seaweed. We had a hard time getting our boat in because of the seaweed as well. The place was very clean and the staff was very nice. There is not much to do in the surrounding area. It is very hilly so bike riding, roller blading, etc. is difficult. If you own a golf cart this could be the place for you.

We had a beach site at the end of the row. Our site was nice and big and very grassy. We had a wood deck to park next to. Those were the perks. The things we didn't like-golf carts everywhere. We have small children it made me nervous. The firewood was not bundled so a pain to bring back to your site. Wifi was poor and cell phone service was not good to non existent at this location. I don't recall there being much as far as provisions in the camp store either and never saw a bath house.

Beach was trashed. Boats get pushed into the middle of the lake during the night. Plants are always stuck up in the Sea-Doo and in the Boats propeller. They do NOT offer Day passes. They treat you like you do NOT matter and they are above you, when you are the one keeping them in Business. I would NEVER come to this Location again NOR will I recommend this POOR Excuse for a "Resort", EVER.
