I stayed 2 nights during memorial day weekend at this suite, and we all loved it.
The place was very clean, they changed towels for the next day, and all the staffs were so friendly. I had to warm up food, and they lend me plates, silverware and even gave me milk for my kids. Fast check in and check out too. Overall I would definitely come back here again and could recommend this place for a quiet and comfortable stay.
Enjoyed our one night stay. Quiet hotel. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Usual complementary breakfast items which was replenished quickly and the eating area was kept clean. Would definitely stay again.
This was my first time visiting and it was most enjoyable. From the initial greet at the from desk until departure. The food was very tasteful and the presentation of the arrangement was inviting. The variety of food was good and balanced. In my humble opinion i will return and recommend family and friends. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Lovely accommodation. Comfortable and clean room, a suite, with all the amenities I needed. The complementary dinner provided was a surprise and quite good and we took advantage of the breakfasts each morning as well. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful when asked for suggestions of attractions to see in the Grand Rapids area.
We stayed at this hotel in November and had a great stay, so we booked it again for a recent stay. We were disappointed. The bedroom part was fine except for some bad stains in the carpet. The bathroom however was not fine. The tub did not drain, so we stood in ankle deep water during our showers and it took forever to drain after. The shower curtain rod was all but falling off the wall. The exercise room is a lawsuit waiting to happen....the cable on the weight machine was frayed, one treadmill gave off a burning engine smell and the elliptical was impossible to work. I did manage to get a run in on a second treadmill, but was nervous the entire time. When we brought all of this to the attention of the front desk, they did change our room and said they were "working on the exercise room". After showing them a picture of both the frayed cable and the shower curtain rod, my husband suggested a sign on the equipment indicating it was in need of repair and the response was "we will take note of it". The second room had a smaller bathroom...not sure how this happens...and the shower curtain was not much better, but the shower drained just fine. When we checked out, again we were told "we are working on things". OK, but that is all? Not even an apology for the troubles....We didn't want a refund, we don't work like that, but when we pay nearly $100 for a room, we do expect things to work and not have to worry about weights falling on our heads. We were most bothered by the "oh well, we are working on it" attitude we were given when telling them of some issues. We were also told that "we had a volleyball team in last week! they must have done damage." Ok...so fix the rooms BEFORE you put people in them and check your exercise equipment BEFORE someone gets hurt. The front desk was friendly, they just didn't seem to care there were problems; which makes me wonder if these are common complaints and they have become immune. However, the beds are comfy and we slept well. We did use the hot tub and it was nice, but the towels at the pool are too small to be useful.

We are very sorry to hear that you were not happy with your stay. I recently took over as General Manager and have been working diligently to fix and update different areas of our hotel. Upon hearing your comment regarding the fitness room, we moved to renovate and update all of our equipment. We now have new cables on our weight machine, a new stair stepper and treadmill (the motor was broken which was why it wasn't working) and have also added a bike. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience and hope that you will visit us again and have a more enjoyable stay with us!
I made an error in the date of reservations at the nearby Comfort Inn and Suites, and this hotel had a room left so I was stuck with this hotel. It was average in every way. The room was clean, and they had the standard breakfast, but price was about $40 higher per night than the other comparable hotels. I've read elsewhere that this hotel offers dinner, but returning to the hotel at about 5:30 did not show any evidence of dinner being served, and no mention of the times were given at check in. My guess is that they charge by occupancy rate, which means that they up the price as their hotel fills up. Breakfast needs to start earlier than 7:00 am on weekends as many people need to be on the roade earlier. Nothing special here, and will stay elsewhere in the future due to the price.

I am very sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience at our hotel. In reference to the dinners, we actually do offer those Monday through Thursday from 5pm-7pm. We also offer cookies in the lobby along with coffee 24 hours a day, and popcorn in the evenings on the weekends. With the keycards at check-in, we provide a small slip of paper that includes the dinner hours, breakfast and pool hours, and wi-fi user name and password. Unfortunately we are not able to change the hours of breakfast as this is a standard time for all Country Inn & Suites hotels.
Our pricing is based on an automated system that generates prices within the same range as our surrounding hotels in the area. We do have special prices for blocks and extended stays as well as AAA and senior rates.
