Stopped into this restaurant by default. Downtown Grand Rapids was packed for ArtPrize and all restaurants seemed to have an hour to two hour wait. We were ready to leave town to eat somewhere else but my husband decided to stop in McFadden's to see about the wait. They could get in a table for 8 right away. My first response was to wonder what was wrong with the place if there was no wait. Nothing was wrong. I will agree with the others that they did seem understaffed. We had quite a wait for drinks and lunch, but the waitress was so cute and sweet, that we really didn't mind. Everyone enjoyed their meals and said they would love to return. (My niece and daughter both ordered chicken pot pie. The flavor was lovely with fresh herbs and a puff pastry top. At 14.95 it was a bit pricey for the amount of food, but both girls licked the plates clean.)
