The sushi was good and our server was very polite, but it was so congested it just wasn't an enjoyable experience.
I get that it was Friday night, but the tables were so close together that I couldn't hear my husband over the two couples sitting on either side of us.
I know every detail about the guy to our right and his high school soccer career.
The guy on the left was on a first date- it wasn't going well.
Anyway, I know more tables means more money, but there is a lot to be said for a great dining experience. Remove two or three tables- give your guests some space to breath and they'll spend more money. And they will enjoy themselves more. Those four two tops- take one out. Please! When our server shimmied between our table and first date guy, her derrière was nearly on our table. It wasn't her fault, but that didn't make it any less awkward.
My husband and I had to text one another just to be able to converse.
I've been here many times for lunch- that was always enjoyable. This experience was not. :/
