We arrived late and were very tired from a long drive. When we got to the room, it was warm. We turned the AC on. It never seemed to really cool down. After about 30 min we noticed the temp in the room barely moved. We set the thermostat @ 67. It was almost midnight and decided to turn it down even lower. There also was not a door knob on the inside of the bathroom door. At this point we went to bed. I probably shd have called down to the office but were too tired. The area of the bldg was quiet and the room was clean and a bit outdated. The breakfast was so/ so, typical make your own waffles, juice, coffee, eggs and sausage. The sausage was almost gone and the man said he wld get more, never did. Like I said before it was an OK place but not worth the $$. I told them about the AC and door knob. They had no idea there wasn't a door knob on the bathroom door, a bit odd. Probably will find another hotel when visiting Michigan

I took a rented a pool side room to spend the day with my 4 yr, old granddaughter in the pool and relaxing around the pool, Only to find the pool used to drown proof kids all day screaming babies and no use if the pool ,When I complained I was told you can use it too thanks but my granddaughter isn't afaid of water and I don't care to have her frightened .I was told I would receive a 20% discount which I have not received, Never again

After our plans changed drastically following a major storm in Muskegon, MI, we were able to get a room at the Grandvillage Inn. It was wonderful, though the hot tub could have been a bit hotter and the towels are a tad bit worn. Comfortable bed, quiet location, with entertainment and dining nearby. Price was reasonable. Safe parking. Can't ask for much more for an overnight stay.
