Lined up to get a protein shake of the menu board only to be told they were understaffed and too busy to make shakes on this particular day bit disappointing.

A russian lifeguard yelled at me for going through the wrong door that didn't have signs saying not to!? He was quite horrible, other staff were fine/average. Food from the canteen is extremely limited and expensive. Nothing special really pool wise. Kids enjoyed the wave pool but only one waterslide.

We came here two days in a row during a heatwave in Melbourne. There are so many different pools available - wave pool, hyrdotherapy pool, 50m indoor pool, 50m outdoor pool, 25m indoor pool...as well as a large permanent water slide. During school holidays, inflatables are also set up - there was a fantastic superfast slide setup from the diving platforms , which the kids loved (although this was only in place for 2 hours a day, between 1-3pm)....as well as obstacle type courses. My only gripe is that during peak periods (e.g. school holidays and hot days) the place is a MESS! The floor area near the wave pool was filthy - there are tables and chairs here, and bits of chips, squashed fruit, etc were on the ground and there seems to be no organised effort to clean it up. Also, during peak periods, MSAC give you different coloured wrist bands to wear so they can stagger use of the wave pool - which is very fair, but they need to have a better way to coordinate this - at the start of each session, the staff spent at least 5-10 minutes shouting into the PA system to make sure only people with (say) blue wristbands were in the wave pool.

If you are not desperate to use a wave pool, I would instead recommend Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (see separate review).

There are variety of good pool facilities here including indoor and outdoor swimming pool, wave pool , Hydrotherapy Pool, spa, sauna and children Splashout which make it good choice specially for families with children. the problem of this pool is shortage of storage and also you have to pay extra for lockers . Overall, it's a nice aquatic center located in the beautiful Albert park.

This place is great for a day of pool fun, there is wave pool, lane swimming, diving pool and both indoor and outdoor pools. Outside there is plenty of room for sunbathing. It is very good value. The major problem for us was that there is a shocking shortage of lockers (we could not get one the whole time we were there) this meant we had to take it in turns to go in the pools which did put a dampener on our day. If they could sort this out it would be perfect day out.
