Both the views and the slice of life are worth observing along this route. Outstanding pure Michigan refreshing simplicity.

“Wow”
Reviewed 28 July 2012

Little known gem that combines the rocks of Maine's coast with Big Sur's sweeping beaches. Why head to the coasts when you can enjoy this unspoiled and uncrowded inland coast that is every bit as beautiful.

“Copper trail”
Reviewed 3 July 2012

150 miles, all day, great ride!!LIked everybit of this trail, It is a bit rockey. Pretty cool, seen lots of deer, and other small animals. On old railroad grade so can be kind of bumpy. Be careful in Copper Harbor, gas station was closed for a week. Bring gas on your trip.

“Nice car ride, but not much there and their were flies and bugs everywhere”
Reviewed 27 June 2012

The drive up to Copper Harbor was nice, but there wasn't really much there to do and the bugs were large and everywhere.

“Site Seeing”
Reviewed 18 May 2012

Take the west trail north through Eagle Harbor. It is absolutely beautiful. There are many places to stop and see along Lake Superior. Drive up on Brockway Mountain and take a look at the entire area. You can even see Lake of the Clouds.
