This is one of the most scenic drives I have ever seen. Driving through the birch and fir trees to exit out on the coast of Lake Superior is breath taking. There are many places to pull off for a quick picture or relaxing roadside lunch.

Both the views and the slice of life are worth observing along this route. Outstanding pure Michigan refreshing simplicity.

Little known gem that combines the rocks of Maine's coast with Big Sur's sweeping beaches. Why head to the coasts when you can enjoy this unspoiled and uncrowded inland coast that is every bit as beautiful.

150 miles, all day, great ride!!LIked everybit of this trail, It is a bit rockey. Pretty cool, seen lots of deer, and other small animals. On old railroad grade so can be kind of bumpy. Be careful in Copper Harbor, gas station was closed for a week. Bring gas on your trip.
