Owner description: The resort features one of the longest ski run sin the lower peninsula of Michigan at over a mile long and the most skiable acres. Boyne Highlands is the perfect place to spend your vacation with so many additional activities such as dog sledding and horseback riding. Boyne Highlands offers great four-season activities, which means you can enjoy the fun and excitement of the Petoskey area all year long!

This facility has four excellent golf courses on premise. They are affiliated with several others nearby and also associated with Boyne Mountain giving you two more golf courses to enjoy. Staff is always welcoming (even at the front door). Check in has always proved easy. Maps to direct you to your room or cottage are always available. Breakfast buffet includes a variety of standard fare hot and cold. Made to order omellettes are outstanding. I have been here for golf trips more than 10 times and if the darn thing were near a major city, you wouldn't be able to get a room. Better value than Florida, California, Arizona, Texas and the Robert Trent Jones Trail in Alabama. Catch the right weather and you cannot beat this place. I will return again and again.

Boyne Highlands offers four outstanding golf courses right outside the entrance to the Inn. The totality of the resort makes it unique. Everything you want in quality golf is located on the premise. And having the Donald Ross Memorial golf course to play adds to the trip. I never tire of going there.

Booked a 2 hour horseback ride for myself, hubby and daughters (ages 15 & 17) for something "new" to do while up North on Memorial weekend. The guide was great and the horses were all well behaved and gentle. Very relaxing ride through beautiful wooded trails. My girls (and hubby) loved it! Had a great time. They offer 1 or 2 hour rides. If you have the time, also book a zipline tour for an entire day adventure while at Boyne Highlands!

Great skiing for the whole family. We also went dog sledding for the half hour option and it was amazing. Would recommend going for more than a half hour if you can. Also we ice skated on the outdoor pond with the free ice skates. And we loved the bar and Slopeside bar. Great time for the family!

Bikes,
