“Real Diner”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

Cokes-the real thing. Good shakes. Average, acceptable food. Your there for the cars. Genuine waitresses customers. No servers and clients.

“The Quintissential Diner”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

Just like eating in a road-side diner when I was a kid. The food is good, but the atmosphere is why you're here. Genuine, not cheesy - this is the real deal.

“Great shakes - mediocre food”
Reviewed 18 August 2013

Don't know if there is a "real" kitchen or not - it seems like the food is precooked and steamed back to life. The shakes were awesome though.

“A great place to treat yourself to a bit of the past”
Reviewed 15 June 2013

We stopped in for some refreshment and a place to sit while visiting the museum and were delighted in what we found. The pies, the dogs, the frozend custard, the floats and the old fashioned soda pop were all a treat. A must stop when at the Gilmore car museum

“A Delicious Piece of Historic Roadside Americana”
Reviewed 15 June 2013

Built in 1941 by the Paterson Vehicle Company of Paterson, NJ, this diner seats 35 and even has a vintage telephone booth! Gilmore Car Museum has restored this diner and you can actually enjoy sandwiches, a good cup of coffee and frozen custard, or as they say, "typical diner fare". The servers are very friendly and I think the food tasted better because it was in such an unexpected and beautiful setting. This is so much more than a typical museum exhibit and we will definitely return. There is another restaurant in the main museum building, but it was not open the day we were visiting.
