Good food although some weekend nights inconsisten quality as restaurant is packed. The scallop and pork belly appetizer is very good but about half the time the jalapeños are missing.

One of the larger microbreweries in Michigan. They have a very nice atmosphere and great, very helpful waitstaff. Several choices of beer. We got a flight of 9 different kinds and really liked only a couple of them. But those we did like, we really liked!

As a resident of Holland, I feel NHBC is very overrated. Sure they have some good brews, but sometimes you can get their own beer for cheaper down the road! Cons: The service is usually terrible (unless you get Katie the bartender! She's great!). They have a lot of young kids serving who have no idea what customer service means. 8th Street Grille and Curragh usually have NHBC's beers plus a much wider variety for those wanting a mix. Their "spirits" are also terrible. They just started serving their own liquor and it is just not good. Tastes very young.
Pros: lots of seating, and the food is ok. The atmosphere is also very cool so if you can visit it for one of their outdoor festivals, you'd probably have a good time. Just don't expect the typical excellence that Holland servers usually bring, and you'll be all set.

The food is good, atmosphere okay, but definitely not an intimate setting. So if you want to just go to eat and not converse, this is your place! Gets good bands on the weekends.
