This was a nice stop for lunch. We all loved listening to the radio station out of New Orleans while eating lunch. It's small, but full of charm. The menu wasn't huge, but had enough variety to please all (we have a vegetarian in our family). The waitress was friendly and quick. If you want a different type of place to eat, visit the Blue House Bistro! I'd go back!

This is a gem! We had one of their small plates, the mediterranean sampler with warm pita yummy! That set the tone. Then we ordered the crab cakes in puff pastry with a merangue topping on a bed of greens. Really different and inovative. I can't wait to go back.
A little hard to find because the farmer's market was set up and 8th street was closed, but well worth the little inconvenience

We were looking for a unique place to eat in Holland, and came across the Blue House Bistro. The managers were very friendly and welcoming. The average menu meal is $8-$10, and plenty of food! The Chicago Beef sandwich and fries was really good! We would definitely return to try something else. We had a party of 5 and everyone liked their menu choice.
Decor INSIDE the house was very nice and modern. Very small, but nice. We went at an off time (3 p.m.) so there was no waiting or noisy atmosphere.

I have been a long time customer at the Blue House Bistro. The food is always excellent, full of flavor and the entire experience reminds me of a true Creole dinning experience. The staff are always extremely friendly and fast. I absolutely love the Gorgonzola Stuffed Chicken and the Fried Chicken with Red Beans and Rice. The Blue House Bistro should definetely be a destination for everyone!

We have gone to the Blue House Bistro on several occasions and always love to go back. If it was for the ambiance, we would not go there. What brings us back is the excellent gumbo, the jambalaya, the creole pizza, the Phyllo feta rolls and the like. The cook is be very creative and often tries variations of a dish and that makes it interesting for me. I have never been disappointed with the taste of the food, especially the Creole dishes are spiced right for my taste. But if you prefer standardized food, you might as well go somewhere else.
