“Tunnel park beach”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Tunnel park is just a few miles from holland state park and you can walk in the beach from one to the other if you like!! Tunnel park has the unique feature of a small tunnel through a dune to walk through to get to Lake Michigan. There is volleyball courts, a playground with all new equipment for young children, a lot of picnic areas and additional parking across the street if the lot is full. There is a horse shoe set up but you must take your own horseshoes. Many grills to use but you can take your own in as well.

“Nice Even in October”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

We came here in October and there were only a few people here, but the water is always nice to see even on a semi-rainy day. The park facilities were clean and I plan on returning again, Walking through the tunnel was great. The beach is on an incline and walking down and back up reminded me of how much I need to work on getting in shape again. Beautiful views!

“Crowded and nasty water”
Reviewed 30 September 2013

This beach is highly crowded and the water was slimy with dead insects in it. There are changing rooms and an area to grill with shelters. Maybe it was the time if year, but I would never go back here.

“Fantastic day at the beach”
Reviewed 20 September 2013

Beachfront was immaculate, absolutely pristine. Water was clear and clean all the way to the limit of the swimmer section. Big, nice play structire for kids away from the beach, good sand volleyball pits, ample parking, nice lookout platforms, The bluffs are lovely. Beautiful gem of the Great Lakes.
