First of all, I just want to say that if you are expecting the Ritz, then you might want to stay home. However, if you are looking for somewhere to go camping with your family, then you should definitely think about staying here.
My 7 year old daughter absolutely loved staying at the Flint/Holly KOA. We had a deluxe two room cabin w/out bathroom. It was clean, had a/c/heat, cable tv, small fridge, microwave, & wifi. It was perfect for us to celebrate the Labor Day weekend/last summer weekend together before she went back to school. They have so many activities going on during the day/evening that my daughter didn't stop from the moment she woke up until she finally pooped out late night. She did karaoke, watched a movie, bounced in the bounce houses, rode down a zip line, played on the playground, tried her hand at sluicing(it's like mining for gold), swam in the nice pool, outdoor bowling, rode bikes, took a glow-stick wagon ride at night, flashlight candy hunt, & much more. The fun was non-stop. Plus, the campgrounds are located less than 10 minutes from the Renaissance Festival, which we spent one of our days exploring, & they offer discounted tickets.
I can't say enough about the staff - they were friendly and courteous at all times. If you needed help or anything, they were right there with answers or to help. The facilities & bathrooms were clean. They didn't have a ton of showers, but the ones they had were nice & big with good shower heads & hot water. I didn't have to wait once to use them & this was the busy Labor Day weekend. Some of the things were a little dated, such as the bounce house, but that didn't take away from the fun one bit. Even my sister, who is a self proclaimed "snob", said that the campground & facilities were nice. I would definitely recommend & we are already looking into booking there again for their Halloween weekends.
