“Bud's in Interlochen”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014

This is a great place for lunch, coffee, ice cream or picking up a few fun gifts. It is not necessarily cheap, but the food is consistently good and the staff is friendly. In the summer they have a great patio to sit outside and there is wifi if you feel like you need it. As a local it's great to be able to have a spot to go for lunch during the workday and Bud's certainly fits the bill.

“A gem in tiny Interlochen”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2014

The tiny village of Interlochen, a 15-20 minute drive south from Traverse City, has been noted over the years primarily by the nearby presence of the world-famous Interlochen Arts Academy and little else. Five years ago Bud's opened up and immediately became a community gathering spot for local residents, Interlochen students, and Traverse Symphony Orchestra concert-goers. Bud's is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is very appetizing, reasonably priced, and the coffee is very good. Free wi-fi is available. The rustic design is appealing, as are the old-time artifacts within the restaurant.

“extremely overpriced for being in the middle of nowhere”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2014

$9.95 for a frozen Costco salmon burger - really? It's right down the road from a boarding school and is the only place the kids can walk to, so they really hose the kids on the prices.
Would not recommend.

“Great seating and nice atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2013 via mobile

For starters let me say, I'm not an ice cream person... At all. However I did get a glass-bottled coke which was great. The best part of the whole thing however was the atmosphere. I recommend if you go there to eat outside on the wooden chairs and benches. Northern Michigan is great for outdoor eating, and Nud's a great place to relax after a long day camping or not he beach
