I recently stayed there on a very busy weekend, there is no snow anywhere else! I was greeted with a nice warm welcome from the new owners that recently bought the lodge. I was very happy they were able to accommodate our last minute plans for a short snowmobiling vacation.
My family loved the Belgium waffles at breakfast, we weren't expecting that. They were also very helpful on where to eat and places to sled.
The only problem the whole weekend was there was a huge group with kids and preteens that were not supervised at all by the parents. Went to the owners in the late night telling them of the loud kids and they promptly went to the noisy room, and then it was quiet. I was glad to see the second night we stayed there that pool hours were posted for adult swim hours. The children were quite unruly in the pool with no supervision from the parents and the owners repeatly came to the pool reminding the children of the rules, for their safety and the safety of the other guests. We were really impressed on how the owners cared about everyone's safety.
All and all it was a nice place to stay and the pool was huge! My family will definitely come back again, probably won't book soon enough!
