We stayed here during the state wrestling tournament in Battle Creek. This is our 5th year at the tournament and our 4th hotel during that time. (Twice at the Comfort Inn on Capital in B.C., once at the former Days Inn (now a Four Points) on Cork St in Kalamazoo, which I thought was the one I was booking for this year's stay, and once at Baymont Inn on Beckley in B.C.) This was, by far, the worst of them.
The faux headboard had fallen off the wall on one of the beds.
There was one outlet for the lamp, microwave, & mini fridge so you had to unplug the lamp to use the microwave and vice versa.
The outlet behind the dresser/TV stand was missing the cover plate.
Didn't notice this until morning, but there were bits of toilet paper beside and behind the toilet, like it had over flowed and was never cleaned up properly.
No coffee maker in the room.
The batteries were missing from the remote control. (I know this is not the fault of the hotel, but it gives you idea of the type of clientele who stay there, I mean who spends $60-$70 on a room and steals a couple of AA batteries.)
The distinct smell of marijuana smoke in the west stairwell.
