We thought more exhibits would be inside and more media forms. Glassworks are advertised but few available for viewing.

They have very nice jewellery for good prices. Their shop is a real pleasure to visit, you will find all kind of art from local artists.

We are members and frequent visitors to the KIA. The facility looks somewhat blah at first glance, but the collection is strong for a city of Kalamazoo's size. In particular, the KIA has hosted several truly outstanding exhibits during the past few years. Docents are quite knowledgeable. Nice gift shop featuring local artists. A strong art school with a large variety of classes available. Parking can be a little tight for major exhibits or special events.
