A friend who had eaten Malaysian food in New York city referred us to Rasa Ria saying he liked it as much as at any Malaysian restaurant there. We did. We've gone there once weekly for years. We love as an appetizer the roti kanai with chicken curry. Don't forget the "pulled tea" to go with. My favorite dish is the sup asam pedas (seafood soup) but I've tried nearly everything on the menu. I love to go in and to be called by name. Most of what I order is written down before I even say it. It's great to see Malaysian students at every visit. The surroundings are modest but we think the food is great! (and very reasonable)
