The hotel was nice and the staff was really helpful in all well, my kids loves spending time swimming in the pool, the breakfast was really nice and fresh. The room was really nice with all the new décor. Over all good value for money, will recommend all my fiends and family.

For the last leg of our family spring break I wanted to stop into Monroe, MI, to see the River Raisin National Battlefield Park, the only national battlefield that has been reclaimed and preserved in the United States from the War of 1812. We just needed a place for us to get 8 hours of quality sleep.

After our Beaver Falls, PA, Super 8 experience two nights earlier, I was hesitant to try a Super 8 again. But I am glad we stopped in here. Price was perfect for 8 hours or so of sleep, $60 bucks with taxes. Hotel clerk was very friendly, lobby and hallways were clean, room smelled inviting and room was clean enough. Not perfect, but not as bad as some hotels that are big brands that charge a whole lot more per night. Beds were a little hard, and pillows and sheets were nothing to write home about, but this was a Super 8 and we were tired. We had a fine enough night's sleep, had a simple but satisfying breakfast, and were on our way.

We got what we paid for, and felt the place was a fine place to crash for the night. The price was definitely right. Would gladly stay here again should we come back through this way again.

My 12 year old son and I stayed there. It was in a dark secluded area. When you walk in, it has a very musty smell. The man at the front desk spoke no english and didnt understand questions I was asking. We were on the 2nd floor and as soon as the elevator opened, it reeked of weed. There were several people slamming doors, hanging out and running up and down the hallway. When we got to our room, the door was wide open. We checked everything to make sure no one was in there. We had to put towels under the door because of the weed smell. The bathtub was dirty and black. When the dirty toilet flushed (took 3 times holding down the handle), you could have heard it down the hall. There were spider webs everywhere, toenails on the floor, drawers were missing from the dresser, plastic hanging over the smoke detector and stains on the sheets. The pictures on the internet of the room look nothing like what the rooms do. The tv only got a few channels (the rest of the channels had a loud beeping noise and you couldnt watch). This place was nasty!!! DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

Room Tip: Nasty. Do not stay there.
