Used this hotel for a base to visit local attractions eg Cadbury World, NEC & the city between 30 & 45 minutes away. Hotel was very clean & staff were able to help us get the best out of our stay. It was very good value.

I stop at lots of holiday inns and this is one of the best. Quiet despite being at side of m5, great staff, clean and comfortable. Free wifi and lots you can walk to for eating. My only hope is that others leave room for me to stay here when I am on Bussiness as it meets my needs 110 %

I stay in Holiday Inns a lot and I have to say this is one of the best with really great staff who can't do enough and seem to go out of their way to remember you and check everything is ok.

Would definitely recommend.

Was welcomed Enthusiastically (i think his name was Erik) by the front office staff, and he was mighty pleased that i was a Gold member. Not a big deal, but made it feel special, although he needn't have.
From here on the rest o f the the stay only got better. Very good rooms. Even though there is a 24 Hour McD just adjacent to the hotel it was noise free. Very good insulation and had a great nights sleep.
Breakfast was also much better (warm croissants for a start) than any other HIE i have stayed in the UK.
On the whole it was an ideal hotel and perfectly fit for purpose.

This is the second time that we have used this hotel to break our journey from Scotland to the south and it hasn't disappointed us each time. The room was spotlessly clean, the staff welcoming and the breakfast selection good except perhaps for the hot items. Personally I would not choose scrambled egg as an item to be kept warm. For me it is a dish to be eaten freshly cooked. I think fried or poached eggs might stand the test better but I stress that is a personal view. One small criticism is that the trays of breakfast items were not replenished very quickly during a busy period. The cost of breakfast is included in the room rate (not "free" as it is advertised) which I applaud.

I would, however, make one plea. Why only one chair in a room for two people? Not everyone wants to sit or lie on the bed to watch the TV.

First time in this hotel. Exceeded standards of most other HiEx hotels. Staff were very curtious and friendly. Right next to M5 so easy access to other towns for days out. Rooms were spotless and well attended. And as a loyalty card holder the discount down to £36 a night made for fantastic value.

Stayed here for one night - room 131, first floor, end of corridor. Was made to feel very welcome and was treated well. Staff were very polite and friendly. Room was in good order, overlooked the car park, rather than the M5. What's good about this hotel is it is off the motorway, rather than in a motorway services. There is a Harvester on site (where we had dinner), a McDonald's and an Indian Restaurant. Dinner was available in the hotel. Breakfast was the usual standard for a Holiday Inn Express and there was plenty to choose from. The room was cold when we arrived and, despite increasing the temperature on the panel, the aircon just wanted to cool the room down. During the night we managed to get it to blow warm air, which was a bit noisy. There was a small amount of noise from occasional loud cars visiting McDonald's during the night but, other than that, it was pretty quiet, especially considering the proximity to the M5. Would happily stay here again.
