Hann 1830 Inn is not for you if you want cable, ppv, and a pool. It is a B&B through and through. It does, however, boast wifi, which would have allowed us to watch netflix in bed, had we not been to exhausted to move. When we do the island we like to spend all our time doing the island. We don't want to waist time or money on a hotel. We got a room at the Hann peek season for $90. That's unheard of. Most places on the island start at $250.
The Hanns, Nick and Moira, were perfect hosts. The room was quaint and clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I am a picky sleeper so that is saying something. The bathroom was immaculate, featured a claw foot tub and fancy shampoo and soap, and really made my stay comfortable.
Breakfast in the morning was made fresh, featured lots of yummy deserts, as well as fruit, eggs and cereal for the kids. There are porches all around the Inn that we were welcomed to sit on till 10 pm. Some of the rooms feature kitchenettes for cooking on the island.
While sitting on the porch at night we were graced with the presence of lots of old friends and family who to our surprise, knew us as well as the innkeeper. It was a blast.More
