My wife and I wanted to eat at one of the Grand Hotel restaurants and we sure are glad we picked this one. We went for lunch on a beautiful sunny day and sat on the outside patio overlooking the golf course and the main thorough-way next to the Grand Hotel with the horse-drawn carriages making their way by so the scenery could not get much better.

We both ordered the Maine Lobster Chowder that was simply delicious. It was loaded with lobster and felt that the price charged was well worth it. I had the blackened white fish sandwich with the fresh homemade chips which was superb and my wife had the pulled pork tacos that she devoured. I personally thought that the price was extremely fair considering the quality and portions of food that were served. We will definitely go back.

Okay stop for soup and sandwich. You can eat outdoors and watch the horses come and go at the Grand. Kids can grab a good sandwich here as well, though a little pricey.

Thank you for your review, and for noting that our outdoor seating is a great place to watch the horses come and go.

While there is something to be said for formal dining while at the Grad Hotel, don't overlook this "casual" option.

We arrived late on a Tuesday (about 45 minutes before close). The staff greeted and sat us right away. They were very attentive and personable. Stevon, our waiter, did an excellent job making sure we had everything we asked for. The maître de came over and asked how everything was. Other staff even asked if everything was ok!

We shared the goat cheese starter, which was excellent. I had the filet as my entree. My husband had the strip steak. Even though his was slightly overdone, it was easily the better of the two but both were very, very good.

We had the creme brûlée for dessert. Get it. It was awesome.

It's not exactly cheap but it is definitely worth it.

Enjoyed a casual dinner, great view and great service. Nice change if you don't want to get dressed up.
