new property and construction .......my room was awesome and had a/c. Located where all the action is.......we have been to the island 4 different times and this is the nicest of the rooms that we have had.

Room Tip: We enjoyed our balcony, microwave, small fridge.......although in the middle of all the action it was peaceful at night so we could sleep

I highly recommend the Bicycle Street Inn. It is conveniently located across the street from Sheplers Ferry and in the middle of the main street. I also recommend to spend the money and get the balcony room. Our family really enjoyed standing on the balcony and watching the town. At night it is beautiful and so peaceful to step out and look at the quite empty street. Between The Bicycle Street Inn and Sheplers, we were very worry free as all luggage concerns were hands off. Also, the beds are comfortable and the shower is very relaxing.

Room Tip: Choose the balcony room, its worth the extra money.

This was our first time on the island and wasn't sure where to stay. The first hotel we check was already booked, but they referred us to the Bicycle Inn. It was built in 2013, the room was wonderful, clean, spacious, had a balcony to main street and right across the street to Shepler's. Downstairs was a fudge shop, ice cream shop, a few stores and a grill/restaurant. They had antique bikes in the "lobby", very cool to look at. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Very eager to share info about the island. Although it was on main street the room was very quiet. We had a wonderful stay.

I can't say enough about this place! The staff was incredible and the location was absolutely perfect...right in the heart of everything and directly across the street from two of the three ferries. This hotel is only a couple of years old, but the staff knows what they are doing. We were greeted at check-in as if they already knew us! The noise level was extremely low for the location even with the shops on the main level. Honestly, I wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island unless you are looking for a B&B...but keep in mind this hotel has a continental breakfast included too. The rooms are very nice with extremely comfortable beds!

Room Tip: For the best street/water views, choose a room from 300-305. There are great balcony views in these rooms.

Decided to take advantage of the beautiful weekend and head to Mackinac Island. The Bicycle Street Inn is ideally located and close to Sheplers Ferry and all the restaurants and shopping. The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. The rooms are very large and have all the ammenties to make your stay very enjoyable. Seabiscuit Cafe was one of our choices for dinner and the food was very good (the whitefish tacos were very good) also Goodfellows was another choice and the food was good also. The Village Inn was another great choice. Be sure to rent a bicycle and tour the island and of coarse you have to try the fudge at one of the many fudge shoppes. The Mackinac Carriage Tours is another way to learn the history of the island and Connor was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable.
When you need to slow down and take life easy the place to do that is Mackinac Island !!! Go and enjoy !!

Travelers from Perrysburg Ohio

Room Tip: Room 300 was great !!! Very quiet and away from the elevator. The balcony was a great place to sit and soak up the sun and enjoy the breeze !!!
