“Great stay as always”
Reviewed 12 October 2013

Great continental breakfast with more than enough choices. Nice and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and inviting too. We were staying for our third anniversary. We stayed here two years ago for the first time and needed to come back. They even upgraded our room at no extra charge. Who does that without charging! We will be back in the years to come. A nice treat were the cookies at night delivered to our room..hot and fresh!

This was our second time at the Inn. The inn is so welcoming and well decorated. The staff is excellent. They bend over backwards to see that your stay is a good experience. The porter was very courteous and prompt. Check in was a breeze and our room was updated when we got there. The desk clerks are extremely helpful. The breakfast is very good and the snacks are good (cheese and crackers). The 24/7 coffee and tea is a plus. Planning on here for our next visit to the Island. A very happy memorable experience.

Based on reviews we asked for the quietest room in the inn. It was a large room on the 5th floor and it was quiet. We had the unique experience of listening to the clip clop of horses' hooves as we were settling in for the night. The room, as well as the entire property, is beautifully decorated and maintained. It had an authentic Victorian era feel. Staff were very hospitable and helpful. We enjoyed mornings and late afternoons sitting out on the porch, were there was WiFi. We also used the hot tub, an amazing stainless steel installation with a large fountain. That is not to be missed. The only down side was the breakfast. It was very mediocre, but we expected that based on other reviews. The location was perfect for our several days of sightseeing on the Island. We really felt we made the right choice for our stay.

Room Tip: #501 is large and is the quietest in the Inn. Climbing up and down the stairs was good exercise and...

Thank you for the wonderful review! We are very sorry you didn't thoroughly enjoy our breakfast. Ten previous reviewers in a row, who mentioned breakfast, stated that the Inn on Mackinac breakfast is exceptional!

This is a great place to stay. Their service started at the boat dock where a porter was waiting to take our luggage to the B & B upon our arrival. The room was excellent and the extras were fantastic. Breakfast was good every day we were there and warm cookies every night plus cheese and crackers in the afternoon for a snack. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate available 24 hours a day. Close enough to the shops, that walking was not a problem. Loved our stay.

Had a family/friend get-together on the Island in early October 2013. We stayed our 2nd year in a row at the Inn on Mackinac - its a fantastic B&B. Hana, Stephanie and Brandon (the staff team) were fantastic - pleasant, personable and professional. Our room was clean and quaint. The location is perfect with a view of the island marina. The breakfast was plentiful. Fresh baked cookies in our room each afternoon. Cheese & crackers in the hotel lobby every day, as well as 24-hour tea and coffee. Lots of places to sit and visit with friends, family and other guests. Very nice and we would definitely stay there again.

This is the second time we have stayed here and I will return for sure. Good price for being near town on the Main Street and the rooms are very cute and clean. Even warm cookies placed in your room in the evenings. The staff is there to meet you when you arrive on the boat and take them up to your room for you. When it was time to leave they even helped to take our bags back. There is someone at the front desk all the time and always willing to help out and never act put out. I would recommend the Inn on Mackinac to anyone!!
