This was a pleasant surprise for us. The inn was very charming and comfortable feeling. There are two wrap - around porches and two living room areas as well as a very nice stainless steel hot tub. Breakfast was served on the first floor, and had alot to offer. Everything we tried was wonderful.
Warm cookies were brought to our room each night! Coffee and hot chocolate was available any time of the day. The inn had a young man meet us at the ferry and he transported our luggage to the inn, as we enjoyed our first carriage ride to the hotel. The hotel is only 3 blocks from the
center of the town, which gave us the option to walk everywhere if we felt like it.Loved hearing the horses clopping down the road in the quiet of the evening. Prices were great.

This was our first visit to Mackinac Island and used Trip Advisor and other travel sites for information on lodging, finally settling on the Inn on Mackinac. Our visit could not have been better. Due to car problems, we were not able to get to the B&B on the night of our reservation. When I called, they offered to change our reservation to the following night at no extra charge. Upon arrival at the island, our baggage was picked up and delivered to the B&B and waiting for us. The B&B is charming, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location perfect. We were so glad we weren't in a hotel right in the middle of Main St. The Inn is close enough to the action but far enough away from the noise (I especially think this would be a plus during the heavy summer tourist season). We were on the 2nd floor near the wrap around porch and enjoyed sitting out there with a drink and people watching. WI-Fi is available on the porch. The breakfast was more than adequate and the special touch such as cookies in the room, cheese and crackers in the afternoon and coffee/hot chocolate/teach available 24/7 were a welcome surprise. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

We were so glad the Inn stayed open later this fall! It's a charming building, the staff is wonderful, our room was fabulous, breakfast was great with a wide variety (even got biscuits and gravy two mornings...yum!), coffee/tea/hot chocolate available all day, a snack in the afternoon and cookies at bedtime...and fudge, too! The fall special was amazing (stay 2 nights get 3rd free and 10% for booking online). I HIGHLY recommend the Inn on Mackinac for anyone visiting the island!

Loved the bright green building with pink and white trimming. The colors made the inn stand out from the rest of the inns on the street...we always knew ahead of time just what bldg was ours from a ways down the road. The patio in front (cafe style tables and chairs) is really cute if you want to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee, or snack, or meal, or just check out the view of the harbour.
They also have a huge wrap around porch which you can enjoy and relax and do what you please.

There's a really nice hot-tub on the deck of the third floor ..they also provide towels.

The 24 hour complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate was great...didn't have to leave the bldg to get a refreshment. The breakfast was delish: scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, oatmeal n raises, brown sugar, nuts, fruit, variety of juices, bagels, toast. And we even got warm cookies at night.

Our room even had a tiny little balcony...that I just had to keep opening the door to take a peek out-side. Our room was really cute. It had old fashion wallpaper, and reminded me of growing up in my parents home which was built in the 1800's. The room was Very clean. The bathroom was all up to date...yet still had the old world charm.

Great place to stay...if you like the feel of old Victorian. Friendly staff, decent price, and they give so much more than any other place I've stayed at on the island. I even purchased a few pounds of their delicious home-made peanut butter fudge...was so good...could not hardly get it home to deliver as gifts.

I want to go back sooo badly!
Lovely, Lovely, Lovely, and Charming!!!

Booked the Inn on Mackinac on a whim because the federal government and a blizzard prevented us from heading out to South Dakota. Was pleased with the price - third night free and 10% off just for booking online. Just a short walk from downtown - no need to worry about noise. Free breakfast - and more than just cereal and bagels. Coffee/hot chocolate/ tea available 24/7. Cheese and crackers during the day, warm cookies on the bedside at night. Room was clean, however the bed had a sag/slope to it and the shower stall was very narrow and didn't have ledges to set your toiletries on. Front desk was always staffed and were very welcoming. I would recommend the Inn on Mackinac to others and would definitely stay here again.

Great continental breakfast with more than enough choices. Nice and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and inviting too. We were staying for our third anniversary. We stayed here two years ago for the first time and needed to come back. They even upgraded our room at no extra charge. Who does that without charging! We will be back in the years to come. A nice treat were the cookies at night delivered to our room..hot and fresh!

This was our second time at the Inn. The inn is so welcoming and well decorated. The staff is excellent. They bend over backwards to see that your stay is a good experience. The porter was very courteous and prompt. Check in was a breeze and our room was updated when we got there. The desk clerks are extremely helpful. The breakfast is very good and the snacks are good (cheese and crackers). The 24/7 coffee and tea is a plus. Planning on here for our next visit to the Island. A very happy memorable experience.
