Prices are steep but this is all part of the tourist attraction ... 'you are a fudgie and don't forget it!' I had a Prime Rib on Sourdough bread and it was wonderful. My wife had a ''whitefish' sandwich and it was not as good as expected. On the Great Lakes you expect fresh fish but this was a fish patty like you might get at McDonalds. You have to ask~! The server was friendly (as all Mackinaw Island Summer Help) and the food was served promptly. The decor was 'Early American Tavern' and well done.
