After a long day of traveling, this was a perfect place to stop for the night. Clean rooms. Good wifi. Great prices comparitively. Was treated excellently by the staff. (Which is only 2 people!) It's nice to see a self owned hotel making their way. Close to the bridge. I recommend this place to anyone traveling through Mackinaw City.

We first stayed at the Starlite Budget Inn motel which was awful so this place was much better. It didn't smell great. The AC worked really good. The bathroom is quite small and not in the best shape. The bed was comfy, the wall decor and bed comforters are terribly outdated. Really can't complain about too much.

We stayed 2 weeks ago and decided to stop again on our way back through. Saw all the improvements that the new owners (Found out after talking to them. Very nice people, and very helpful) We had a nice large room had a refrigerator and microwave. We got there perfect time for the new mattresses (VERY COOL). We walked to the beach nice view of the bridge. and the motel is within walking distance to downtown Carol (the new owner) recommend us a nice place to eat. Definitely will stop and stay on our next trip through.

Room Tip: North Rooms are quiet and larger. They also have a patio to walk out onto with patio furniture

This motel is located right by town so it is very easy to walk to town and see everything. The rooms are nice in size but the bathroom was small. The beds were ok. There was a tv in the room that had all the channels also free wifi. The bad part was the bathroom floor was rotting out in front of the toilet. I don't know if it was like that in all rooms but it was in ours. We also returned that night after being out and our room keys did not work. The phone outside the office did not work either so you may want to fix that. Luckily our window was unlocked and we could climb through the window. Very disappointed. Other than that the staff was friendly however I don't think we will return unless it is seriously updated and fixed.

This hotel had good reviews on internet so we thought we would try it. Not sure where the other people stayed but we were in room 107. It was gross. The whole room reminded me of a thrift store. The room was dark and dusty, an old TV and would not atay on, the bathroom gross( a crack in the tub and felt like it was going to fall in the middle), the carpet dusty , the bed had a metal bar sticking out of it and I ran into it during the night, the coffe pot looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The whole atmophere was gross. I will not stay there again(even if they gave me free room)

Room Tip: Go somewhere else!
