The trip from Holland to TC is about 3 hours long. This place is a great place to stop for a halfway break.

We didn't stay at the hotel but we did gamble a bit and enjoyed the atmosphere greatly. As I've written on another casino, there is pretty much one in every direction and this is no different. It's nice and I'm sure very pleasant to stay at.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away at the Little River Casino Resort. We had a spacious room with a king size comfy bed. The room was very clean and the location was nice and quiet on the second floor North building. They have a nice swimming pool and hot tub area. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. The staff at LRCR are very nice. We played a lot of table games and a few slots. The dealers were friendly and the slots were kind to us. The live music at the bar was entertaining if you enjoy country music. We are not big country fans but did enjoy the atmosphere and even danced a few times. The draft beers were only $1 for 12oz which helped improve our dancing moves! Overall, we found the entire experience at LRCR very enjoyable and plan on returning again.

Room Tip: The North building rooms were nice and quiet.

If you have kids and like to go to a casino, they have a very nice pool area for the family and nice casino for the grownups. The rooms are are good size and comfortable. Local area has some good fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and the M22 scenic road.

Did I mention it was snowing here? Well don't let that stop you, this was a wonderful trip to a place that we had only visited in the summer, so why would a little snow stop my little gambler from collecting her comps? It also was the first time we stayed over and I was very surprised at the size of the resort, and just how nice it was here. The room was great, the bed was very comfortable (plenty of pillows), and they have a pool and hot tub, and guess what? The pool was great.... By that I mean clean and just prefect. The breakfast buffet was very good, and since we are over 55, it was 5 dollar's.. And they had all my favorite slot's. This place has everything you can want without leaving the property, and all the food was priced very reasonably, and it was good... The grounds crew worked all day and night moving snow and we were able to get to and from the car without any problems, they really do a nice job there.. Now if MDOT would of cleared M-55 just as well... I would like to thank all the staff at Little River for their efforts to make this a trip that we will do again for sure..

Room Tip: This place is big and you will have a walk, 2nd floor cuts off half the noise, and the ends of the b...

Every thing about the Hotel was better than I expected. My wife and I stayed in a deluxe king room. The tall ceilings and extra space including a balcony with two French doors give the room a custom feel. The bathroom was large with a separate glass shower and tub. The furniture was comfortable and well appointed. The TV in room could've been lager since it was on the far side of the large room. I looked for an above average hotel to get away for one night without spending a fortune. This hotel was that. We had no interest in the casino but the live music being played by an entertaining 80's rock cover band and the atmosphere of a comfortably busy gaming floor added to the fun of being there.
