“Great Place to Dine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 October 2013

After arriving in the area earlier on Friday the 4th of Oct. we were told that one of the best places to dine was The Little Traverse Inn and we were not disappointed. My brother, his wife, my wife and I enjoyed our meals and the quality of service. We were promptly seated and drinks were ordered (prices are a little high), the waitress explained the specials and was very patient while we ordered our meals. Two of us had fish and chips, one had chili, and another had the soup special. All meals were prepared perfectly, with the fries being exceptional. The menu has something for almost everyone with an English Pub flair. The atmosphere was such that you can talk to those at your table and not have to raise your voice to be heard.

“Fantastic English pub in Leelanau”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 September 2013 via mobile

Having gone to the predecessor (Leelanau Country Inn) we were interested in trying the new cuisine. It is fantastic! We tried the Shepherd and Cottage Pies and both were spectacular. Our next trip we tried the fish and chips- very English. Beer was on tap, local and foreign. In all, a great meal, wonderful service, and a great view. Highly recommended. And reasonable prices, too!

“A new regular sport for us!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2013

Incredibly accommodating when my rehearsal dinner didn't work out at the Homestead. Made a special menu, took care to meet and know myself, my fiance, and our parents. Really took care of us and have excellent food. It was my first time there, and my parents' second, and we can tell that they are going to give other local restaurants a run for their money. Great atmosphere.

“Great meal from a new place in an old setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 July 2013

Hadn't been to this setting since it was the Leelanau Country Inn. We heard good things, so decided to try this English-style pub. We arrived and were seated immediately, offered the menus and the wine list. We chose the Cottage and Shepherd Pies, and had a baked Brie appetizer as well. Excellent! We then shared the Sticky Toffee desert - and would have licked the plate if we could have. All in all, a very nice experience in a lovely setting. It's well worth the extra time to head out of Glen Arbor, or south from Northport.

In addition, this place offers some lodging - as a bed and breakfast. That will be on our list in the future.
