We went to this museum a couple of years ago. It's small but packed full of history and memorabilia.

“Interesting local maritime history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2012 via mobile

Small museum definitely worth the price if admission. Great exhibits on shipwrecks near Marquette,as well as the lives of the brave men who risked their lives to save victims of shipwrecks. A nice collection of Fresnel lenses is located here, including a giant 2nd order lens, the largest lens to be found in a great lakes lighthouse. An exhibit detailing the WW II battle of Leyte Gulf, and the roles U.S. submarines Darter and Dace played is also included.
