“Such a great lighthouse”
Reviewed 7 August 2014 via mobile

This is a beautiful place to visit!!! The lighthouse tour was awesome!! Lots of stairs and a little tight at times!! Flip flops are not recommended and we agree!! It is so cool to be up so high viewing the lake and the people below!! There were lots of children there as well! The volunteers were also very friendly and knowledgeable! A great experience but we will admit coming down the stairs can be a little crazy since you can basically see the bottom from way up!! If you are afraid of heights this is not for you!!

“wow”

This light house was so cool. Lots of stairs, but well worth the trip up. Breathtaking at the top. The sand dunes and beach are right there too. All day fun for the family!

“Pristine beach and beautiful lighthouse.”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 via mobile

This is little drive off the freeway but worth the detour. You need a state park pass to park in the parking lot. There is a nice beach here where you can walk or swim. The lighthouse has just been open to the public for the last few
years. Also recently added is a walkway up the hill to the lighthouse entrance. There is a small fee to enter the lighthouse. The climb to the top isn't too bad. I took my 5 year old granddaughter and she
did fine. Make sure you bring your camera!

It was a decent climb but it did not seem so horribly harsh, it definitely felt like a nice worn piece of history, can't wait to see future improvements

“Amazing beach and lighthouse!”

I think this should be a stop for your family. Great beach, beautiful light house... Even found some petosky stones. Kids had a blast climbing the dunes. Sunset amazing.
