They had a farmers market when we were there. Great variety of foods to buy. Very large park with lots to do.

“Great walking, relaxing area”
Reviewed 9 June 2014 via mobile

This park hooks up to the Michigan RailTrail walking path; which makes for easy walk, rollerblading, etc. The Tridge provide a unique view of a three-way bridge and is dimly lighted at night for a romantic glow. The is a dog park in the back section of this park which is nice but basic (separated by large and small dogs). A skatepark here provides entertainment to watch kids doing tricks on skateboards and bikes, however, depending on the kids, the language used can be foul mouthed.
There is a nice spray park provided with a changing room.
The playground set is nice and just enough for basic entertainment.
Good place for picnics and basic gatherings under the pavilion.
Fishing here is rough due to all the trees above and below the water ...lots of tangled and snagged fishing lines. In the years of coming here, I've yet to catch a fish or seen others catch a fish - go further down the river near the boat launch by Dow for more success fishing.
Concerts and other events here are enjoyable but pack your own chair.
Basic bathrooms with running water available (3 stalls total)...not much when events are held on site.

“super clean manicured parks, tridge a nice walk”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

What's not to like about a walk in a super clean park with water and a 3 way bridge?
the bridge to the left is interesting, overgrown, abandoned houses, like the park that time forgot? glaringly different then the other two areas

“Gathering place for downtown activities”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

The Tridge is a landmark for Midland. They have developed the area, so there is now a rail-trail that goes 30+ miles west to Clare, MI. The trail is very smooth, and well-used during the warmer months. There is also a separate trail on the South leg of the Tridge that leads to the Chippewa Nature Center - this is a nice scenic ride or walk also. From May to October, there is a Farmer's Market near the tridge on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The tridge is a "must-visit" if you are in Midland.
