I've eaten here several times. The meals are always top notch. Excellent food, clean bar and mostly smiling faces. The bartender was the worst I've ever had and any bar ever. Yes it was that bad. When we asked her for ketchup once our meals were brought out, she sighed like it was a big inconvenience for her. When I asked her for another drink, she gave me a dirty look and acted like that was some one else's job. My group would have stayed in there for several hours at the bar of she wasn't serving us. The few times we've been there and she wasn't working, we have stayed there and spent a substantial amount of money at the bar. The other women working there are so pleasant and polite. I will eat there again but will leave every time once our food is finished if this woman is working behind the bar.

Last week we found "The Creek Grill", expectations weren't high even though it ranked #2 restaurant in the area. The atmosphere is comfortable because the bar and restaurant are one large room. Our waitress Nichole walked us through the menu and made sure we were well taken care of while deciding on food and beverage. We ended up ordering the chicken pasta with mushrooms and the Kobe burger both dishes outstanding. Best we could tell Midland doesn't have a large sampling of restaurants other than large franchise restaurants so this made for a nice change. Would recommend you give The Creek Grill a try the next time you eat out.

Yes-We have been here before. They just keep getting better. I do think they have the very best soup in Midland-we had the Chicken Taco. We split the seafood platter ($14.95). I am not fond of seafood-the crab cakes were great (as was the sauce). The scallops were done to perfection. Our service was as expected-A plus by Shawlyn-all others do the same. The manager, Andy, knows us & stopped to talk even though we had not been there for over a month. Best kept secret in Midland. Glad we live near The Creek!

The place is south of downtown to the right of the chemical plants. It's a small but cozy place with no more than 12 tables and a bar. The waiter was very nice, patient and helpful. The food was very good also, the Kobe burger fantastic! Great place to spend time with friends and have a good meal!

Thank you for the great review! I enjoy the Kobe as well - it definitely makes a great burger even better!

Indoors, we have 24 tables - but you should stop by in the summer! We have an outdoor patio that features an additional 13 tables, and is shaded by a tree that the patio is actually built around! We also feature horseshoe, volleyball, and cornhole!

We went to The Creek Grill last night and I must say it used to be better. The house salads were "pre-made" and were tired looking and tasting...the steak on the "black and blue" salad was extremely tough...the perch while good tasting had very heavy breading...overall...just a so-so food experience. The wait staff was very nice....but overall...the experience was just average.

Sorry about your so-so experience! Our salads are pre-made in house the night before or day of use, and always have been! Only our "specialty" salads are made to order. Also, our recipe for and method of breading haven't changed since opening as well!

Sorry about your sirloin being a bit tough. It is our leanest cut of meat, and depending on how well done you like your steak it can get quite firm!

I hope to see you again so we can change so-so to spectacular!
