My wife and I have become 'regulars' at Monroe Street Grill because it's simply a place that serves interesting meals at good prices that are far more thought and care put into them than the typical from-the-restaurant-supply-company-to-you fare that so often dominates cafes in small towns. Among my favorites: superb lasagna, best burgers in town, Caribbean salmon and (when I need a fix of comfort food) the meat loaf.
Always check out the specials. They're constantly changing and almost always worth trying.

When you get to The Hotel Sterling walk down and check their hours so you can catch an excellent meal with them.

Unique and varied menu. A bit higher priced for the area, but well worth it. Great breakfast selections. Always full and satisfied.

A+ for presentation on their dishes. The salmon was great but didnt care for the roasted pepper sauce on the ravioli. I hadnt ever had "potstickers" before and tried them here and they were SO good. Ambiance kind of lacks a bit and there's no alcohol.
