If you are looking for a family owned operation and tried of the "big hotel chain, take a number feel" then this is it. I think their prices are really good and the mom is the super star of the Inn. If we go again we will stay there. Close to bike path and short 15 minute drive to Michigan Adventure.
Had a small play-set for my kids and a large grass area in which we played catch. They also had a basketball court but we did not get a chance to use it.
Rooms where ok but not great. Bathroom was recently remodeled and done very nice.
My only complaints:
The daughter always seemed to be in hurry to get back to what she is doing and it makes you feel rushed when talking to her. Not the friendliest person.
I am a light sleeper so the noisy ceiling fan and a/c unit did not help. Fortunately the nights where cool enough I did not need them. So I did not say anything about them.
Oh, this is not a complaint but and FYI. They are two dogs that roam the area. They did not bother me (but I am a dog person) and it was nice company in the morning.More
