My wife and I only spent one night at the lodge but were very impressed with not only the hospitality / food and service but the attitude of the staff. We will return and stay longer our next visit to Namibia

Room Tip: It was recommended to us and will recommend it to anyone going or coming from Etosha

Mokuti Etosha Lodge is located just outside the park, close to Lindequist Gate.
Many thanks to the management for a very warm welcome.
The rooms have been recently renovated and look really nice and modern.
Dinner buffet was excellent with a huge variety of dishes, including choice of vegetables and salads. Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful - they seem happy and satisfied with their work.
I would definitely recommend it and will go back there again.

Everything was very fine.
Please don't miss to visit the reptile park. It is well done

We used the Mokuti Lodge for a business meeting. It was a great setting for the meeting. The service was superb, and the rooms and the facilities were great. We managed to squeeze a 3 hour jeep tour in the park.

We arrived later than planned on Friday night. The staff prepared a delicious dinner and had it waiting for us when we got to the lodge at 11pm. We held our meetings outdoors near the pool. Everything was well managed and well staffed.

I highly recommend this lodge, for its proximity to the park, its great facilities, and its friendly and responsive staff and management. I plan to return as a tourist.

Thank you for your very positive review of your recent stay at Mokuti Etosha Lodge. I have to say that the meeting venue which you chose is going to prove very difficult to better. Your comment may well produce a stream of enquiries for poolside meetings.

I am very happy that we were able to meet your expectations, and look forward to welcoming you back to the peace and serenity of Mokuti in the near future, this time to relax.

An amazing place to stay. Excellent services, excellent staffs, excellent food. Very convenient due to the proximity to the Etosha National Park (2mns drive). I really advise everyone who wants to visit the park to stay at this lodge. You will experience a real beautiful and peaceful environment with game around the lodge. The garden like setting is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are spacious and very confortable. A real oasis in the bush.

As a family we go there regular. At least twice a year. The best thing is the location but is complemented with the very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Brekfast is always a winner and supper varies between average and very good and also its very pricy. The garden is plays a big role in the relaxed atmosphere that Mokuti offers together with the beautifl pools, gym and massage areas. The tennis courts is not in a good state anymore but its also not being used that much. A bit of extra touch could be given to the lawns and certain trees are going to die soon if not looked after. However this is our favourate stay over when visiting the Etosha. Easy access to Etosha and when back, very peaceful and relaxed rooms, gardens, pools and overall atmosphere. Defnately more need to be done to make it more friendly to elderly people and movement restricted people. The rooms are far from the main building.

Room Tip: Every time we got there, something was not working properly in the rooms. The rooms lower down to th...

Thank you very much for your review of your recent stay at Mokuti Etosha Lodge.

It is good to know that despite some of your less positive observations, we remain your favorite place to stay over when visiting Etosha.

As you observed, we do have some television reception problems in some of our rooms, mainly caused by squirrels eating the cables. We are on top of this and the full refurbishment of the entire television system at Mokuti should be completed within the next 2 – 3 weeks.

We now offer a split buffet option in our dining room, whereby you can partake of starters, main course or dessert, or a combination of any 2 of these courses, for a lower price than that of the full buffet. This option is available to guests who book on a Bed & Breakfast basis. This way you actually only need to pay for what you consumed.

Our new bedding which was ordered two months ago will also be arriving within the next two weeks. We have also refurbished our kitchen over the past five weeks and we now have the tools and equipment to ensure that the meals that we produce are of a consistently high standard.

We have two rooms fitted at Mokuti for people with impaired mobility. These rooms are also situated much closer to the main lodge building for ease of access. When you next book with us, could I ask that you specify your requirements and if either of these rooms are available, our reservations department will allocate one of them to you.

I am extremely concerned at your comment pertaining to the maintenance of the rooms, specifically light bulbs not working, smelly drains and the toilet not flushing properly. We pride ourselves on sorting these problems out efficiently, and the fact that they appear to not have been addressed is a worry for me.

I have addressed this issue with the maintenance manager and we are working on improving our systems with regard to providing a better maintenance system to our guest rooms.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the improved Mokuti in the near future.

Kind regards
