It is a perfect place to stay in Graskop! Very friendly staff and excellent rooms (rondavels). Perfect for families and couples - and also for groups while they have a dormitory. Every rondavel has toilet, shower and kitchen. And Internet - with extender ;o)

Came here with my girl friend for 3nights and she absolutely loved the place and most of all the lodge's Cat, whowe named Garfield. The owner is welcoming and helpful when required. They have 24hr check-in which, really helps late night travellers. I would recommend to couples and families...

Spent 4 nights here in March 2012, it's everything you could want - fantastic clean rooms, friendly staff, and more than enough facilities. The central rec room has tvs, a pool table, a massive kitchen area for those self catering, and free WiFi throughout.
We stayed in one of the bungalow rooms and had the added bonus of a patio area and kitchen facilities in our room including fridge and microwave. Can't ask for much more than that.
Rod the owner is a legend - try his restaurant a few minutes walk away for one of the best burgers I've ever had. Don't bother staying anywhere else in Graskop - under an hour from Kruger.

Room Tip: Private rooms offer kitchenettes - upgrade from the dorm for loads of space.

We spent two nights here in Nov 2011. It's very close to town but really quiet. The bungalows are great - really homely, spacious and clean - plus they have kitchen facilities in the bungalow as well as in the shared central kitchen. The owner is very friendly and helpful but not over powering. The value is outstanding. It seems like Graskop is increasing it's tourism and there are some swanky places appearing which seem oddly placed. Sheri's is exactly what you want and expect from a stay in an authentic lovely little town like Graskop.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Graskop is home to Sheri’s Lodge & Backpackers, it is a small forestry town on the edge of the escarpment. Originally owned and run by the late Rod Sheridan, who was once voted Australia’s most ‘eccentric’ tour guide. We invite you to come spend a night (or even a week) at our little piece of Africa. Sheri’s has 10 rondavels and offers a variety of accommodation options, from Backpackers dorms to the more private self-catering units. Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway or a group tour, we have something for you. We welcome both local and international travellers. After a long day of sightseeing (and there is plenty to see), come home to Sheri’s and put your feet up. Tea and coffee is also on hand for those chilly days. Connect with friends and family via our FREE Wifi and plan your activities for the next day with the help of our friendly staff. Enjoy a braai and a game of pool or a dip in our bite size swimming pool, catch your favorite team in action on TV (Dstv) or cook up a storm. We have someone available 24/7 to help you, credit card facilities, secure onsite parking and clean sheets! Sheri’s is located near the centre of town and is within easy walking distance to all local amenities. There are a variety of ‘Things to Do’ in the surrounding areas – from breath taking views to the adrenaline pumping ‘Big Swing’. Graskop is often referred to as the gateway to the Panorama Route – just a short drive away is God’s Window, Wonder View, the Pinnacle, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Three Rondavels, not to mention the spectacular waterfalls. ... more   less
