Nkomazi Game Reserve is truly special. The staff go out of their way to cater to your every need.
The rooms are decorated in old world safari style, David Livingstone eat your heart out! The beds are large and comfortably soft. The best is the bathtub on the deck. Everywhere around the lodge your hear the constant relaxing sound of the Komati river.
The game drives are very educational and eventful. The guides have an infectious passion for the bush and they share interesting facts as you drive. Although they have plenty of activities to keep you busy, I would highly recommend doing nothing, as it truly is the best way to relax. A massage at the spa however does do wonders in that regard as well.
The food will certainly not leave you wanting. From the freshly baked muffins and scones before the early morning game drive to the buffet in the boma under the stars, everything is tasty and uncomplicated.
This is one place I would return to again and again. Hope to be back soon!
