Cosy Hotel is a superb location only a few steps away from Taumadhi and Durbar square.
I stayed here for 12 days during Bisket Jatra festval (Nepali New Year) and very much enjoyed it.
The hotel staff was extremely attentive and eager to help and this always with a warm smile.
Anil the owner and Vasan the manager arranged for me trips to Chitwan NP and Phokara, hired
a mountainbike, bought SIM card etc - in short, they offered me every possible service.
My room was modern and decoaretd with good taste; the bed was very comfortable. It was
spotlessly clean and they provided daily fresh towels. The bathroom, though rather small was
convenient and I had always hot water. I really fancied the rooftop restauran with its spacious
terrace and magnificient views over the town and towards the mountains. Actually spent hours there, just to relax and watching the daily life of the local folks down in the alleys - a superb grandstand. The food in the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. I preferred the Nepali dishes, try out the chkicken/veg momos and the "juju dhau" curd, simply divine. For breakfast you can make out your own pick of the large variety in the menu.
I enjoyed the warm hospitality of Cosy Hotel and plan to visit again.More
