totally unknown to this mystical place, "Alka MarcoPolo" made us fell very welcoming. just around 2 min walk from the Jomsom airport, Alka Marcopolo rests beneth the rocky mountain overlooking the majestic Nilgiri. Owner Bardan Rai and Manager Maan Lama and their staff were very friendly and helpful, always giving us local tips and suggestions for the best trek routes around and dos and donts (after all local knows best) .... after a long day of trek and cycling the food was delicious, freshly cooked and all organic ...
Had a good connection internet cafe and the wifi was free, which was very convenient for me to connect to my friends and families back in UK and upload photos.
The owner,Bardan Rai, is also one of the founder of the "Epic rides", mountain biking in Nepal, you can also hire a GOOD mountain bikes for reasonable price with a professional guide (if you choose to) ...
finally the rooms, we had a in suite attached room and they have hot and cold water 24hrs.
Must say, stayed in various hotels during my 10 days trek around mustang area and by far alka marcapolo had the most comfortable and clean rooms and extra blankets were provided for free. Dorms and single rooms were available too.
Highly recommendable ..... cheers, sid ....

Room Tip: most of the rooms are with the front view, so its all good .....

Central Location opposite the Airport. We had warm showers all the time and were looked after in a very personal way by the Manager.
The food was freshly cooked, had a tremendous variety and was very tasty every meal including breakfast.
There is no doubt that we would recommend this place and plan to come back.

Room Tip: Rooms on frist floor in back building, you can see the sund go down over the mountains and have your...

Property is quite old like most of the other places in Jomsom. Close to the airport and right in the center of the city. No hot water and food is ok. Service is acceptable. Nothing worth mentioning but for about 1K NPR, I can not complain.

great ambience, excellent food, super friendly staffs and a place to relax all ur hard walk and get into a rejuvenating sauna!! its just too good to be here! most of the food served there is freshly made and have a very clean and healthy kitchen. the staff are experience individuals with years of experience in hospitality field.
they have two separate building one for dinning and bar and the other for rooms. So you don't have to worry about the noise coming in from guest.

they also do cycling trips around mustang and lower mustang. with professional guides.

as getting back is always a hassle up in the mountains they also have travel service provided.

*internet cafe!!!

Room Tip: 2 types of room are available with attached bath room on the roof top with a spectacular view of Nil...
