The crew were really friendly and helpful and knew their stuff. Food served on board was really tasty. Facilities were excellent given you are on board a yacht. Seeing whales was a real highlight of our holiday, as was the snorkelling just before lunch. Would highly recommend to anybody who wants to do see an extra element of Sri Lanka.

We left very early in the morning to get a chance to see whales. We didn't but saw hundreds of dolphins. The boat was very comfortable, the staff was professional and the food was healthy and tasty. Just before lunch we snorkeled (equipment provided), jumped into the sea and had fun.

Very professional and friendly staff.
Before our trip everyone on the beach told us that we can't see whales in trincomalee.
It was wrong. We sow 3 types of whales and hundreds of dolphins.
It was amazing.
And the price 7500slk is very cheap for what we get.
Breakfast, lunch, snorkling, dolphins and whale watching.
All of that in the amazing pearl.(not crowded peacefully with lovely music).
The best in trincomalee.

Among many options for sailing trips in Trincomalee we decided to go aboard with sail-charter. What a great decision!
It's an amazing way to spend morning.

Unfortunately, due to the stronger wind these days, we were not able to sail out far enough to see the whales , however we had a chance to witness beautiful game of dolphins who were racing with our catamaran and jumping out of the water right in front of our eyes.
The nature is amazing indeed!!!
The crew gave us another chance to confirm that when they took us for snorkeling. Large arrays of colorful fishes, corals, turtles were amazing sight when not trapped in the aquarium.

Entire crew was very friendly and ready to present to us everything that must've been their daily routine.
We were treated with two meals and water which is included in trip rate and additionally we got some beers to cool ourselves down.
Not the most important thing but also needs to be mentioned courtesy of the team for providing special rate since we didn't go out to watch the whales.

Thank you guys for most memorable experience and ahoy sailors!;)..

We thought a lot about which whale-watching at what place should we choose and by deciding for SailLanka, we made an awesome decision. Although a little bit pricer, their tours are worth every penny. Their catamaran is clean, comfortable for sailing and there is no crowd, max. 15 people on this lovely boat - compared to other boats in Mirissa for example. You also get two amazing meals-breakfast and lunch, and stop for snorkling at the place where you can observe turtles in the sea. And of course you see majestic whales, we were the only boat to go that far from the shore to see four of them.
Amazing trip!
