3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2013

We stayed here for two nights, after staying the first night in khiva in meros. Room was ok, with own shower and toilet. Location was excellent. Overall experience was less than at meros, mainly due to overall atmosphere and room quality. Breakfast was good, wifi available.

The son of the owner came back from studying in Tashkent and he does most of the work now. His name is Murat, he speaks perfect English and will do anything to make you feel comfortable.
Rooms are big and nice, with air conditioning and a fridge. WiFi is EXCELLENT unlike every other place I have stayed while in Uzbekistan. I could even upload videos to YouTube. The hotel is located inside the old city walls and if you travel with a Motorcycle (which is my case) they can get you petrol, no problem.

The only good thing of this hotel is its position - it´s right beside the main monuments. Very noisy, not ver clean bathroom, beds impossible to sleep. I left some cloth to wash - they did return just a part of it. The owner and his family look at the client as it was their personal enemy. Tv - 3 Ouzbek channels. Breakfast - 1 thin slice of salami, 1 thin slice of chease, 1 egg, bread, jam, sausage and tea. I felt very unwelcome there.

Room Tip: Do not choose a ground floor - you will hear every word, every step of everybody who enters to the h...

I stayed here during a car rally and was very well received. The hotel is build around a central patio. Free wireless internet which is something hard to get in uzbekistan (free internet of course). room was simple but clean. bathroom looks a bit old but ok since it was clean enough.

The hotel was pretty dumpy but I suppose that's not terribly surprising considering the price. The service, however, was abysmal. The surly owner dragged his feet doing everything (providing soap, toilet paper, providing transportation, serving breakfast). He couldn't care less about the comfort of his guests.

We stayed in March and it was very cold all around Khiva... so beside we were frozen we liked the place.

I liked the owner, the rooms and the location. Free wifi is big benefit in Uzbekistan.

We stayed in this family-run hotel for 1 night but we were allowed to make late check-out (at 7pm) for free. This place has 20 rooms. There is a open-air terrace with nice view to sit there in the evening. Free wi-fi is available but unfortunately it works too bad. We booked triple but the room when we stayed had 4 beds. This room was big enough but bathroom equipment didn't work properly. Breakfast was simple but OK. The best thing to say about this place is it's locating. Just in the heart of the old-town. 2 minutes from Nothern Gate (it's possible to climb the town wall and walk there). Hotel offers taxi service (to the airport and to Buhara and tours for reasonable price).
