Enjoyed having dinner in the bar with a good drink and an affable bar tender.

seated immediately, and our drinks arrived quickly. Food took a while to come, and husband's meal was luke-warm while mine was hot. Based on our experience, and some of the other reviews, I think the kitchen needs to work on timing their food prep better. Waitress wasn't very attentive, but was quick to bring the bill. We had to tell her we wanted dessert, she didn't ask if we needed/wanted anything else before bringing the bill. Food was average....fast casual sort of place. Had to eat here because we were hungry and needed dinner after hiking all day, wasn't great, wasn't horrible.

Based on all of the reviews of all restaurants in the area, we chose this one, because I am not sure what "pasties" are. The bar was not set too high by other raters, so we went in with an open mind. The location was about 25% occupied, for dinner time on a Saturday, might mean something, but again this was not really tourist season. The menu is full of all kinds of options, mostly sandwich like items. I got the gyros, which were cooked, but a little "not hot." My wife got the hot beef, which was rather hot. It took a longer than normal time to get our food. Someone at another table also got the hot beef (they ordered at the same time as us) and they were served about 5-10 min sooner. At the end of our meal, our waitress walked up, and dropped off the check, without asking us if we needed anything else, and started to walk away. Another waitress seemingly took over for our first one, and she was much more helpful. Perhaps this location is better when there are more people, or perhaps not. No one got sick, and we both left full.

We will never go back to that restaurant! It was absolutely horrible and way over priced. They "special" the day that we went was sampler platter for $14.99 with haddock, whitefish and salmon. It was the worst fish I have ever had. The salad bar was a poor excuse for a salad bar that I have seen. The soup was clam chowder that looked and tasted like it was right out of the Campbells can. My husband had a hamburger and it looked like a frozen patty. The server that we had was rude and actually made a rude comment about my son right to his face!!!! Needless to say we wouldn't recommend it at all!
